Turnover up 27% and a substantial uplift in recognition

Taking the best of what they’ve learnt over 25 years, Your Travel is a team of experts brought together to create bespoke luxury travel experiences for their clients with an unparalleled level of personal service.

Joint owners, John Stephenson and Sam Cassem, felt that their brand identity no longer represented their business ethos or the affluent clientele they had established. They believed it was time to adopt a new identity that would put their business on the road to becoming a nationally recognised luxury travel brand.

John and Sam approached BISON to create a new look and then to help them deploy it across their marketing collateral, communication platforms and office environments.


BISON conducted a full scoping of the work before starting. This is something that we always do before working on a significant client project and it included:

  • Business Outcomes Audit – building a full understanding of what Your Travel’s long-term business vision and aspirations are, a grasp of their target market and client profile and what outcomes they hoped to achieve from the rebrand project. From this it became clear that there are high expectations for the business with impressive plans for growth over the next five years
  • Brand Assets Audit – BISON gathered together samples of all existing print and marketing collateral, essentially anything team or customer facing that carried the Your Travel identity. This enabled us to define, in detail, all the assets that would be used to carry the new brand design
  • Pre-work Site Visit – BISON visited the Your Travel offices to meet the team and gain a deeper understanding of the business and its approach to customers

Alongside this we spent time reading through the Your Travel website, and its competitors, to appreciate how their brand performed against rivals in front of potential customers.


John and Sam specified that they wanted the new brand to use the black and green colour theme encompassed in their existing logo. However, following the scoping process, and knowing that Your Travel’s brand needed to perform in a luxury marketplace, BISON’s creative team identified that the new brand would need to break away from this colour palette to achieve its objectives.

We presented brand design concepts in both the existing colour palette and our suggested alternatives. Explaining the rationale behind each of our ideas, and showing how they would perform in different environments. The rationale gave John and Sam the confidence to not only radically change their brand but also its colours too.


Once Your Travel had selected a new brand design they were comfortable with BISON set about creating a deployment plan. This included a full schedule of works with an outline of delivery dates. This approach ensured that the introduction of the new identity:

  • was efficiently and effectively co-ordinated
  • met agreed deadlines
  • caused minimal disruption during office based installations
  • maintained a high and consistent quality

Printed collateral

  • Letterheads, business cards, compliment slips and continuation paper printed on premium tactile paper and using metallic inks and foils
  • Flyers produced on metallic silver premium paper over printed in full colour with white inks
  • Proposal packs produced in a unique size on high-quality paper. Although these evoke premium quality they are created in a cost effective way
  • Roller banners

Digital assets

  • Digital letterhead with auto-continuation
  • Email signatures with hyperlinks to Your Travel’s social media accounts and website
  • Digital image library – professional photography of the newly branded office (external and internal) and Your Travel team members
  • Images that could be used in future marketing campaigns
  • Social media icons

Office branding

  • External building and parking signage
  • Window frosting, manifestation and décor
  • Wall graphics
  • Brand values boards outlining what the Your Travel brand stands for
  • Roller blinds for the windows
  • Internal way-finding signage

At the end of the brand roll-out BISON produced easy-to-follow guidelines which were opulently printed, case-bound and supplied in a cotton branded bag. This is presented to key client/suppliers to communicate Your Travel’s commitment to upholding their luxury image. These were followed by Your Travel’s website development agency, Clicky Media, following which Your Travel became a semi-finalist in the ‘Best Website Design of the Year’ category at the CSS Design Awards receiving a ‘Special Kudos’ Award.


By delivering a ‘Best in Class’ brand identity BISON has helped Your Travel strengthen its reputation in the luxury travel sector and achieve a noticeable growth in sales.
