Award-winning Town & Country Mortgage Services have been giving expert advice for over 20 years.
Getting frustrated with their brand assets not all working well together and feeling that it was time for a refresh they reached out to BISON for some support.
Following the proven 4-Step BISON BLUEPRINT methodology we kicked off with an initial discovery workshop – this was conducted over Zoom, followed by a visit to their offices in Luton so we could really get an understanding of their workspace to maximise opportunities for them.
After the workshop we created some design concepts with supporting rationale on how each idea would re-position them at the top of their industry and support their company characteristics.
Part of the process was encouraging them to step outside of their comfort zone and explore a new simplified, bolder identity.
We suggested a simple ‘+’ brand icon and a memorable tagline ‘Advice that moves you’ to sit next to two strong colours.

Following approval of the chosen concept, we rolled out the design across deliverables including super-imposed ‘imagine it’ office graphics and signage visuals.
From there, we went on to produce and install the office graphics as well as make beautiful printed asstes including tactile Business Stationery and Brand guidelines.
Working in collaboration with their website company, we also produced a website skin that carried their brand online effectively. Finally, we created a set of brand guidelines to ensure that future work did not carry brand erosion.
The project was all about finding balance – creating a brand that would stand out in a crowded marketplace while making it friendly and approachable enough that people wouldn’t feel intimidated using them. Gary and Andrea stepped out of their comfort zone and now have a brand to be proud of.
We’ve been well established for quite some time, but felt that we needed to freshen things up with a new identity. Everything was a real mishmash, so it was about bringing everything together again; one look, one feel. That’s definitely what we’ve achieved – we couldn’t be more pleased what’s been done, BISON surpassed all expectations.
Myself and Andrea are quite reserved – we don’t put ourselves out there, so it was a little bit of going out of our comfort zone. We were very much in BISON’s hands – we trusted them and I’m so pleased we did! We love the arrows, the plus sign and the new colours, and it’s very much shouting ‘look at us, this is who we are, this is what we do’. I feel that we’ve got an identity that makes us feel proud and able to to shout about who we are and what we do.
We have a nice working environment for the team as well – a place we’re proud of for anybody coming to visit. We’ve had some super comments from the local tenants in the in the building as well – you can’t miss us now as you drive up the road!
I think a lot of people who have their own business struggle to trust someone with a project like this – their brand is their baby. But the benefits have been amazing. BISON really connected with us as people in the business, keeping that soft family service feel, but bringing us into the 21st century. Thank you!
