As the business evolved, new Managing Director James Edge recognised the need for a brand that truly reflected its position in the market. With ambitions to be seen as the UK’s leading car lift solutions company, TLS partnered with BISON to create a brand that matched the quality and expertise behind the name.
Using the proven BISON BLUEPRINT four-step methodology, we hosted a discovery workshop at BISON with James and the team. We really got under the skin of the business and where they wanted to take it – it was great to have such valuable input from everyone.
Three weeks later we met again, this time presenting to TLS design concepts (with rationale) that would enhance the look and feel of their business.
The presentation was a great success, and the approved concept was subsequently rolled-out across all TLS touch-points – from business cards and stationery to branded office graphics and branded vehicle wraps. We even created digital assets including items for social media and a website skin for a developer to reference to create a website which was on-brand.
A great example is the TLS business card – this is a thick, textured, tactile card that they can hand to clients. It’s not a cheap run of the mill business card – it tells a story – it’s been designed and crafted with care and precision not just printed. It’s a true reflection of what you can expect from the TLS journey from enquiry to installation. It sets the tone from the start and instils confidence in prospects at the start of a potential journey together.
The new look gave James and the team something they could be proud of. They now have an identity that is in line with their high-end offering and the tools to maintain brand consistency moving forward.
Before we started this project, I had recently taken over the company. It was really important to me to update the brand and give it a fresh, new look – something that I would be happy to put my name to.
What I received from BISON wasn’t just a phone call with a price and a few ideas, it was a process and everything was explained to me at each step.
